The Hollybush Hits The Marque

Over 90 % of consumers say quality is the most important factor when buying a pint, and two thirds will reject the beer if they feel it’s poor quality.

A good beer really needs to be treated well; It’s not just the brewing that impacts on the quality of the beer, but how it is stored, the temperature it is stored at, and how it is poured that also make a real difference.

The Cask Marque award is made to pubs that excel in cellar management: not only do these pubs serve good beer, but they look after it properly, ensuring that the customer gets the best possible pint.

Pubs, bars and restaurants voluntarily sign up and receive 2 unannounced visits a year from an independent assessor who checks all cask ales on sale for temperature, appearance, aroma and taste.

When you see a pub with a Cask Marque plaque, you can be sure that the beer you are served is brought to you using the highest standards of cellar management.

The Hollybush have recently received this award, so you can be sure that your well-poured pint is coming from a well-kept cellar and a great brewery!

For the true real ale fans out there you can now down load a cask marque app for your 'phone, and scan the QR code that appears on the cask marque logo in your favourite pubs. You can then be part of the world's biggest Ale Trail! For more information go to www.cask-marque.co.uk

    Spanish sun in the Hollybush

San Miguel makes a welcome debut in the Bush this weekend

    An authentic Spanish Lager

Sam Miguel is a pilsner style lager, golden in colour, sparkling with a generous white creamy head. The taste is full bodied with a refreshing balance of bitterness from the hops and sweetness from the malt. Its rich, intense and refreshing flavour makes it ideal to enjoy with friends.
Take your time to enjoy San Miguel.

Recognised for its premium taste, San Miguel is slowly crafted using a unique yeast and additional malt and hops. To ensure a perfect drinking experience every time, we have created the San Miguel chalice. This Spanish designed glass keeps the beer colder and ensures the head remains
    for longer.

The Hollybush in Style Magazine - Sue Thomas who writes for Style Magazine, Buckinghamshire visited us a few months ago, whilst in the process of doing a write up about Warwickshire and Sue chose to include us it into her final editorial.
"The Hollybush pub, we found to be a bustling pub, with a busy bar, and the service in the restaurant was top, as well as using one of our favourite suppliers!" http://www.naptonwaterbuffalo.co.uk/  check it out www.style-mag.co.uk/bucks
